NYU Stern EMBA
Elizabeth Foster is a consulting manager with over a decade of experience solving the most challenging problems for government clients. She is known for being a detail-oriented and creative problem solver with recognized leadership skills who believes that “life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” Before consulting, she followed her passions which led her to jobs in contracts and procurement, a company-wide Project Management Office, communications, and org change. During that time in her career, she drove org change during three billion-dollar mergers in three years by leveraging the skills she learned while in undergrad from Gettysburg College. This first-hand experience propelled her to specialize in change management, business process improvement, and strategy helping other organizations navigate through both every day and transformational change. To hone those skills, she attended the NYU Stern MBA program, graduating in 2023 with a double specialization in Corporate Finance and Strategy. During that time, she was elected as class representative for the DC23 cohort of 40+ students for Year 1 and Year 2 and selected to the NYU Stern Executive MBA Student Ambassadors Program for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.
Outside her career, she is passionate about coaching sports and giving back to the community. She is going into her 9th year as a high school softball coach helping grow and develop the next generation of women leaders. Since 2016, she has supported The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by annually leading a Light the Night team where she has raised $130,000+ to date. In addition, she was a DC Visionaries of the Year candidate in 2024 raising $55,000 in 10 weeks and received the mission award for Policy and Advocacy for her work engaging the community and spreading awareness.
In her spare time, you can find her spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and going to concerts!
