My passion is building highly successful teams to solve really hard problems. I love finding the analytical or technology challenge that nobody has been able to crack and forming an organization around the solution.

I describe myself as a "product-focused CIO." I take a customer experience and integration-based approach to how I solve the friction points in an organization. I listen, I experience first hand, and then I work to make things run better. Currently I lead a team of 170 of outstanding engineers, developers, managers, and analysts at the Criminal Division within the US Department of Justice.

Hindsight is my definition of success. I'm proud to say every product I've built has lasted for years after I departed the organization for another role.
